WINE TASTING IN ENGLISH: Discover how the local Geneva terroir expresses international wine grapes

You have certainly been drinking Chardonnay from France, Malbec from Argentina, Nebbiolo from Italy or Riesling-Sylvaner from Germany. But did you know that these grapes, along with other famous international ones are also cultivated in Geneva and embody differently the local terroir? If the many expressions of the two most planted wine grapes of the Canton, Chasselas and Gamay, are certainly a must, the many other grape specialities are also really worth discovering. The diversity of Geneva wines is one of its key distinctive characteristics and an indirect tribute to international Geneva.

Along with Vincent Debergé, Head of the Restaurant le Chat Botté and Head Sommelier at the Beau Rivage Palace in Geneva, discover 10 speciality wines from Geneva wine makers and understand better the role of terroir, winemaking and aging techniques.
