The label "Ambassadeur du Terroir genevois" is awarded to the owner of a restaurant, café or hôtel which is mainly promoting local agricultural products.

Created in 1997, the label is valid for one year and renewable if the establishment continues to fulfill the conditions of the Charter. It is awarded by a Commission of 5 members representing the local restaurant and hotel unions, as well as three representatives from the farming community (two winemakers and a vegetable producer).
